Dr. Novotny attended Concordia College in Moorhead and attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine.\u00a0 She also completed her residency at Centra Care and the VA Clinic \u00a0in St. Cloud. Dr. Novotny is a native of Montevideo and is excited to come back to her roots to practice medicine.\u00a0 Prior to pursuing a career as a medical doctor, she worked as a CCM <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/service\/laboratory\/\">Health lab<\/a> employee and volunteered for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/service\/ambulance\/\">ambulance<\/a> as well.\u00a0 Dr. Novotny specializes in <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/service\/family-practice\/\">family practice<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/service\/obstetrics-and-gynecology\/\">obstetrics<\/a>, and will also be a part of CCM Health\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/service\/safe-opioid-prescribing-program\/\">Safe Opioid Prescribing Program<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dr. Novotny has wanted to become a physician for as long as she can remember.\u00a0 Growing up in a small town, family medicine was what she knew and loved long before getting accepted into medical school.\u00a0 \u201cI was lucky to be a part of a residency program that emphasized training compassionate and competent rural family physicians.
