{"id":128,"date":"2019-07-19T20:38:17","date_gmt":"2019-07-19T20:38:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/?post_type=service&#038;p=128"},"modified":"2023-05-17T09:49:21","modified_gmt":"2023-05-17T14:49:21","slug":"cardiac-rehab","status":"publish","type":"service","link":"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/service\/cardiac-rehab\/","title":{"rendered":"Cardiac Rehab"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Prevention Programs are designed to help facilitate recovery from heart attack, heart surgery, and\/or other cardiovascular problems such as angina or heart failure.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This comprehensive program is customized for each individual patient, and is designed to help patients return to full and productive lives. The program emphasis is on improved quality of life achieved through lifestyle changes, including risk factor modifications, exercise, counseling and education involving patient and family for living a healthier life.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>A physician\u2019s referral is required for participation in the program. You are eligible for the program if you:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Have heart disease, such as angina or heart failure.<\/li>\r\n<li>Have had coronary bypass surgery, a balloon catheter procedure, such as PTCA, stents, or heart valve surgery.<\/li>\r\n<li>Have had a heart transplant.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"h2\">Phases of Cardiac Rehab:<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Phase I: This phase begins in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/location\/montevideo-hospital-clinic\/\">hospital<\/a> following a heart attack, heart surgery, or stable angina. Emphasis is placed on gradual progression of exercise in order to reach the highest level of mobility prior to leaving the hospital.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Phase II: This phase begins after <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/location\/montevideo-hospital-clinic\/\">hospital<\/a> discharge and includes close observation with telemetry heart monitoring each session. An individual program is designed to increase each patient\u2019s strength and endurance, while decreasing their risk for further cardiac complications. Patients meet three times per week for 36 sessions.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Phase III: This phase includes exercise with supervision and vital sign documentation at each session. This ongoing program may include individuals with a variety of diagnosis which meets two to three days per week.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The rehabilitation team includes a Medical Director, your doctor, specially trained registered nurses, an exercise physiologist, a registered dietician, and clinical pharmacists. Our staff is certified in both Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Cardiology Services Include:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Holter arrhythmia monitors<\/li>\r\n<li>Cardiac Event Monitoring<\/li>\r\n<li>24-hour blood pressure monitor<\/li>\r\n<li>Nuclear Perfusion Cardiac Stress Testing with and without pharmacological agent supervised by on staff physicians<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We also offer Cardiology Outreach coverage in\u2013house weekly with Cardiologists coming from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centracare.com\/locations\/centracare-heart-vascular-center\/\">CentraCare Heart &amp; Vascular Center, St. Cloud<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For more information about Cardiac Rehab and Cardiology Services, please call <a href=\"tel:+13203218210\">(320) 321-8210<\/a> between 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday \u2013 Friday.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Prevention Programs are designed to help facilitate recovery from heart attack, heart surgery, and\/or other cardiovascular problems such as angina or heart failure.
