CCM Health received a new 1.5T MAGNETOM Aera MRI machine at its Montevideo location<\/a>.\u00a0The MAGNETOM AERA MRI machine allows for better MRI exams and overall experience for patients.\u00a0The innovative\u00a0technology provides fast, personalized scans tailored to your body type and specific needs.\u00a0Jon Jerve Imaging manager states, \u201cWe want our patients to have the best experience possible.\u00a0With our new machine, it will allow\u00a0more comfort, faster, more efficient exams, and diagnostic confidence to provide high quality images so our providers are able to make accurate diagnosis.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MAGNETOM Aera MRI\u00a0accommodates more types of patients with a wide bore\u00a0design to help reduce the closed-in feeling of traditional MRIs and the short design allows for many exams to be performed with the\u00a0patient\u2019s\u00a0head outside of the system.\u00a0It can also reduce patient anxiety with faster exams to create a more comfortable experience for the patient.\u00a0\u201cOur\u00a0new MRI machine will be an asset to have in the ER.\u00a0Any time that is able to be shaved off from a procedure in an emergent situation is crucial\u201d, stated Dr. Chase Osbon<\/a>, Emergency\u00a0Department\u00a0Director.\u00a0The MAGNETOM AERA MRI\u00a0also provides the highest quality\u00a0images\u00a0MRI exams have available today.\u00a0The MRI offers custom mood lighting to create a relaxed, comfortable ambiance to help patients relax\u00a0as well as sky light features.\u00a0Quiet neuro and ortho scans are\u00a0also\u00a0available with noise\u00a0reduction technology.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
