CCM Health is excited to welcome Eleazar Briones II, MD<\/a> to their team of physicians. Dr. Briones II attended Stanford University and the University of Minnesota. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine<\/a> and the American Academy of Family Physicians<\/a>. Dr. Briones II specializes in Family Practice<\/a> and Obstetrics<\/a> and will begin seeing patients in September 2022.<\/p>\n

Dr. Briones II\u2019s father, who also is a physician and general surgeon, influence played as the primary factor for Eleazar choosing to pursue a career in medicine. The joy and fulfillment Dr. Briones II saw in his father\u2019s life day after day motivated him to follow in his footsteps.<\/p>\n

Dr. Briones II has dreamt about the opportunity to provide medical care for the Montevideo community throughout many stages of his life. \u201cThe opportunity to give back to a community that gave me so much support growing up is an honor and a privilege\u201d, he states. \u201cGrowing up with two health care providers as parents, I had a bird\u2019s-eye view of medicine in the Montevideo area. However, until recently, I did not have a handle on the day-to-day workings of CCM Health. I was struck not only by the beautiful facility, but also by the positive culture within the staff. I feel privileged to join the providers whom I will practice alongside.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Briones II is a native of Montevideo and is the son of Drs. Eleazar and Jan Briones. He and his wife, Chelsea, look forward to raising their three children in Southwest Minnesota. The Briones family enjoys swimming, cooking, golf, music, and spending time with family and friends.<\/p>\n
