CCM Health is pleased to welcome Ali Peterson, APRN, CNP, CNM<\/a> to their provider<\/a> team. Ali attended North Dakota State University, South Dakota State University, and Frontier Nursing University.\u00a0 She is board certified by the Minnesota Board of Nursing<\/a>, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board<\/a>, and American Midwifery Certification Board<\/a>.\u00a0 Ali specializes in Family Practice<\/a> and Midwifery Care<\/a> and will begin seeing patients in September 2022.<\/p>\n

Growing up, Ali\u2019s mom was a nurse and a loving community caregiver.\u00a0 Ali admired her mother\u2019s ability to connect with people and be a helper.\u00a0 Ali\u2019s parents gave her lots of opportunities to care for people, from volunteering at the Appleton Nursing Home, babysitting neighbor\u2019s children, and waitressing at the Apple Cafe.\u00a0 \u201cCaregiving and service feed my soul and the science and art of nursing has been the best career choice I was lucky to have made early in my life!\u201d<\/p>\n

Ali is most passionate about women, children, and ensuring families have the healthiest start. Ali loves the challenge of helping people get to the root cause of their symptoms and that much of her work is wellness focused.\u00a0 She also adds the midwifery piece in the form of women\u2019s health, pre-natal, birth, newborn, lactation, post-partum care, and assisting in the operating room with C-sections to her practice.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I chose CCM Health for my own maternity care with the birth of our sons, I felt known, supported, and safe.\u00a0 The growth of the obstetric services department at CCM Health is a testament to CCM Health\u2019s commitment to patient safety, provider\/family relationships, and the team\u2019s ability to honor women\u2019s preferences for their health care experiences.\u00a0 I\u2019m so excited for the opportunity to do what I love with the team I trust and believe in!\u201d<\/p>\n

Ali resides near Dawson, Minnesota with her husband, Luke, and their three children.\u00a0 They farm regeneratively and organically a dozen different crops and have a small grass-fed beef herd.\u00a0 Ali and her family enjoy time in the kitchen and feeding people, going to the Lac qui Parle State Park, walks and hikes, being in nature, going to farmers markets, and she is looking forward to being an assistant coach this year for the Just For Kix program in Dawson.<\/p>\n
