The event welcomed officials from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.co.chippewa.mn.us\/\">Chippewa County<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montevideomn.org\/\">City of Montevideo<\/a>, CCM Health <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/about-us\/board-of-directors\/\">board members<\/a>, staff, and children currently enrolled in the organization&#8217;s childcare program. Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed root beer floats as a celebration of the milestone.<\/p>\n<p>The new child care center \u2014scheduled for completion by fall 2025\u2014will significantly expand CCM Health\u2019s childcare capacity. It replaces the current childcare space, located within the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccmhealthmn.com\/service\/ambulance\/\">ambulance<\/a> building, with a modern, 5,000-square-foot facility on the site of the former Veterans Affairs Clinic. Once complete, the new center will accommodate up to 70 children, more than doubling the previous capacity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project is about more than just a new building\u2014it\u2019s about supporting our team and investing in the future of our community,\u201d said Brian Lovdahl, CEO of CCM Health. \u201cReliable, quality childcare helps us attract and retain the best people. It\u2019s an essential piece of what makes CCM Health a great place to work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The expansion also represents a strategic approach to the future of workforce support and employee well-being. By ensuring on-site access to childcare, CCM Health continues its commitment to meeting the needs of employees in both their professional and personal lives.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Johnson, CCM Health\u2019s Human Resources Director, emphasized the impact of the project: \u201cThis new center not only supports our staff but sends a strong message that CCM Health values family and understands the realities our employees face.
