CCM Health Welcomes Ann Johnson, MD, FACOG to Their Physician Team
CCM Health is honored to welcome Ann Johnson, MD, FACOG, to its team of physicians. Dr. Johnson attended medical school in Duluth, Minnesota and completed her residency at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina which is an affiliate with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecology services and surgery and will begin seeing patients at CCM Health in May.
Dr. Johnson is a board-certified OB/GYN and holds professional memberships and board certifications as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, and the Menopause Society.
Driven by the belief that a career in medicine is both fulfilling and rewarding, Dr. Johnson enjoys guiding women as they find the best solution for their individual needs, whether that involves surgery, medication, or simple self-care techniques. Trained in both obstetrics and gynecology, she has developed a strong passion for helping women prioritize their health through comprehensive gynecologic care. She addresses conditions that can significantly impact quality of life, including heavy or painful menstrual cycles, endometriosis, menopause, infertility, pelvic prolapse, contraception needs, and urinary incontinence. Her philosophy of care is to honor every patient’s medical journey and provide trusted and compassionate care.

In her free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys exploring new places with her husband and four children. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast who participates in long distance races, trail running, hiking, biking, camping, tennis, cooking, boating, water skiing or any other activity outdoors.
Dr. Johnson will provide specialty obstetrics and gynecology services and surgical care at CCM Health in Montevideo.
